OK/Cancel Strikes Again

… with a good article, that is. A Day in the Life of HCI is a good description of “what HCI people do” which certainly rings true for me. It’s unfortunate that there’s not a good common title and set of things HCI people are expected to do—but there are so many people specializing in different areas. For instance, I see myself working a bit more closely with developers. I can only hope I get more jobs where I’m doing something close to what Kevin describes.

Edit: Amusingly enough, the most common question about this article is what HCI means. It really should have been covered. The author has apologized for not defining it and so shall I: It stands for Human-Computer Interaction.
