Inkwell makes hands messy; news at 11

Another cartridge of ink ran out in my fountain pen, and this time rather than using another cartridge, I decided to try using an inkwell with an “ink converter” to allow me to just twist some ink into the pen which normally uses cartridges.

Using an inkwell is so soothing. I want to get a pump-action converter rather than twist-action. The pen also has considerably different weight full of ink vs. empty. It’s nice.

One downside to the inkwell is that I’ve not managed to use it without getting ink all over my hands. Another thing to practice. ;)
