Spam Poetry

I just received this fine piece of poetry. I’m guessing it was supposed to be some form of spam or something, since it was BCC’d to me and the sender was a random string of letters and numbers. I won’t pretend to understand how or why I got it, but it’s certainly good poetry:

teacher shining lady away everyone fair
and stay practice friend
parents taste different

Mmm, that last line is perfect!

  1. Most likly a MIME Alternativ

I get a lot of those, the text/plain part is made of random words (bayesian filter confuser?) and the text/html part is usual spam.

But mutt and other same mailreaders won’t show that spam.

  2. Yeah, there were no other MIME parts to the message. It was standard spammy-looking headers and that body. That’s all I got. It’s possible an SMTP server somewhere on the way to me removed the “extras” that I missed out on.

  3. You’re not alone: spam poetry and spamku.
